About the Property
Hotel Napa Valley is a small boutique hotel on Polk Street, three blocks from downtown Napa. Rooms have old-growth fir, oak and stone floors, and select rooms and suites add spa tubs, walk-in showers and stone fireplaces.
A homemade breakfast is included, served each morning in the wine cellar dining room or packed to go, and each evening a local winery pours at a complimentary wine reception in the cellar. Parking and Wi-Fi are free, there are pet-friendly rooms, and the hotel is smoke-free.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Brown Estate, Kerr Cellars and Benevolent Neglect pour in downtown tasting rooms a short walk away, and the Stags Leap District is about 15 minutes north. We are based in Calistoga, at the north end of the valley.
Getting Here From the Airport
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 45 miles, 1 hour 10 minutes. The closest airport to Hotel Napa Valley, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
Oakland (OAK): about 53 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 61 miles, 1 hour 25 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.
Sacramento (SMF): about 66 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.

About 5 minutes away. Napa Valley's French-founded sparkling wine house, in Yountville since 1973. The Signature flight is $70 and runs about 90 minutes. Closed Tuesdays, and from November 1 also Wednesdays.

About 10 minutes away. Stags Leap Cabernet tasted in caves 130 feet underground. The Estate Tasting is $60 and runs about an hour. Reservations strongly encouraged.

Adds about an hour. Chiles Valley Zinfandel poured in Brown's downtown Napa tasting room, a short walk from the hotel. The Flight Tasting is $50. Seated tastings Thursday to Monday.
