Gary Andrus founded Pine Ridge Vineyards in 1978 on the Silverado Trail in the Stags Leap District. The Andrus family sold the winery in 2000, and today it is owned by Crimson Wine Group.
Pine Ridge farms estate vineyards in five Napa Valley appellations: Stags Leap District, Howell Mountain, Oakville, Rutherford and Carneros. Winemaker Josh Widaman has led the cellar since 2021, and the winery is Napa Green certified.
Tastings take place in the gardens or in European-style caves with a lounge 130 feet underground. The flagship is Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon, alongside the popular Chenin Blanc and Viognier white blend.
$60 for the Estate Tasting and $85 for the Cabernet Cave Tasting, each about an hour. $125 for the 90-minute Cellar 47 Cave Tour & Tasting or the two-hour Explorer's Vineyard-to-Cave experience on weekends.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
