Sacramento International is an easy, uncrowded airport with a straight run to both of the places we know best: Napa Valley to the west and Lake Tahoe to the east. Closer Airports

SMF works well for both Napa Valley and Tahoe, but it is not always the closest airport.

Headed to southern Napa Valley or Sonoma? Oakland Airport (OAK) is about 50 minutes from Napa, and Sonoma County Airport (STS) is about 20 minutes from Healdsburg. For Lake Tahoe, Reno-Tahoe International (RNO) is closer still, and we pick up there too.

Where does my chauffeur meet me at Sacramento Airport?

At the curb outside baggage claim once you have your bags. Your chauffeur texts you before your flight departs and again as you land to confirm the pickup location. Prefer to be met inside? Meet and greet in baggage claim, or at the customs exit for international arrivals, is available as an add-on when you book.

How long is the drive from SMF to Napa Valley?

About 1 hour 10 minutes to the city of Napa and 1 hour 15 minutes to Yountville in light traffic, and 1 hour 25 to 1 hour 35 minutes to St. Helena or Calistoga. Friday afternoons can add 30 minutes or more.

How long is the drive from SMF to Lake Tahoe?

About 1 hour 40 minutes to Truckee and about 2 hours to North Lake Tahoe, Incline Village or South Lake Tahoe in clear weather. Winter storms and chain controls on I-80 and Highway 50 can add hours; we watch conditions and adjust the plan with you.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We track your flight and adjust the pickup automatically. Every arrival includes up to 60 minutes of complimentary waiting time.

Should I fly into SMF, Oakland or SFO for Napa Valley?

SMF is a good choice if your airline flies there nonstop, and it avoids Bay Area traffic entirely. Oakland is the closest large airport to southern Napa Valley, and SFO has the most international flights. We pick up at all three.

Is Bien Chauffeured licensed to pick up at Sacramento Airport?

Can we stop on the way?
