About the Winery

Padis Vineyards is family owned and run by founders Judy and Steve Padis. The family's vineyard is on Dry Creek Road in the Oak Knoll District, where early morning fog, warm days and cool nights suit the grapes, and the wines are made by winemaker Robert Foley.

The lineup is short and focused: Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and blends such as Sintilation, a Cabernet and Syrah blend, along with Dispersion and Brilliance. The tasting room on First Street in downtown Napa doubles as a jewelry shop and a Breitling bar, which makes it unlike any other stop in the valley.

Guests taste in town rather than at the vineyard. The Padis Tasting Flight pours the current Chardonnay, Sintilation and the 100 percent Cabernet Sauvignon. Walk-ins are welcome, or a table can be booked ahead, and it is an easy first stop before a drive out to Carneros.

Tasting Fees

$30 for the Padis Tasting Flight of Chardonnay, Sintilation and Cabernet Sauvignon (a $10 deposit holds an online booking).

Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
