About the Property
Hotel Villagio is one of two hotels at The Estate Yountville, a 22-acre resort on Washington Street. It sits on the vineyard side of the property, with a lively lobby bar, and rooms and suites of about 475 to 595 square feet.
A European-style breakfast is served in the lobby each morning, and the pools and hot tubs are open around the clock. Guests share the Estate's restaurants, including Clementine, Bottega and ottimo, and V Marketplace is next door. The Spa at The Estate is closed for refurbishment until late 2026.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Chandon, Opus One Winery and Turnbull Wine Cellars are all within about 10 minutes, and St. Helena is about 20 minutes north. We are based in Calistoga, at the north end of the valley.
Getting Here From the Airport
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 37 miles, 65 minutes. The closest airport to Hotel Villagio and the easiest arrival: a short drive over the hills from Santa Rosa, with no Bay Area traffic. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 68 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes, and 2 hours or more at busy times. The most flights, with the longest drive, across the Bay Area and up through Napa Valley.
Oakland (OAK): about 60 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO, and a slightly shorter drive.
Sacramento (SMF): about 73 miles, about 1 hour 35 minutes. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.
