The Napa Inn & Spa is a bed and breakfast in two adjacent turn-of-the-century Victorians on Warren Street, three blocks from downtown Napa. The main house was built in 1899 as a wedding gift, and there are 12 rooms, suites and garden cottages there plus three rooms in the Buford House.
A full breakfast is served in the Napa Inn dining room, and spa services are available on site. Rooms have fireplaces, some with two-person whirlpool tubs, and Angelina's Garden Cottage is accessible. Parking is free, and children under 16 are not allowed.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Trefethen Family Vineyards, Saintsbury and Darioush are all within about 15 minutes, and Yountville is about 20 minutes north. We are based in Calistoga, at the north end of the valley.
Oakland (OAK): about 53 miles, 1 hour 10 minutes. The closest airport to The Napa Inn, and often quieter than SFO.
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 45 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes. Often the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 61 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.
Sacramento (SMF): about 66 miles, 1 hour 25 minutes. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.
Flying private? We also meet guests at the FBOs at STS and Napa County Airport (APC). See our Sonoma County Airport car service page for more on flying into STS.
