About the Winery

Darioush Khaledi, who grew up among the vineyards of Shiraz in Iran, founded Darioush with his wife Shahpar in 1998. The family still runs it, with their daughter Sally Khaledi taking on a growing role.

The winery is one of the most striking buildings in Napa Valley, inspired by Persepolis, the ancient Persian capital, with columns, stone courtyards and reflecting pools on the Silverado Trail.

Darioush is known for Signature Cabernet Sauvignon and its flagship Darius II, along with Merlot, Shiraz, Viognier and Chardonnay. Tastings come with Persian roasted pistachios, and the menu runs from a bar tasting to caviar and library experiences.

Tasting Fees

$60 for the Estate Bar Tasting, 45 minutes, walk-in. $80 for the Signature Tasting and $100 for the Mezze Experience, each an hour. $150 for Fine Wines, Artisan Cheeses and $300 for the Caviar Experience, each 90 minutes.

Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
