The Lodge at Healdsburg is a boutique hotel on Grove Street, part of Hilton's Tapestry Collection. Its buildings date to 2008 and were renovated before joining Hilton, with Italian-influenced courtyards set around fire pits and fountains.
Rooms have gas fireplaces and patios or balconies, and some have freestanding soaking tubs. There is a heated outdoor pool with two hot tubs, a sauna and steam room, and Alexander's Cafe & Wine Bar in the lobby for breakfast and Italian dishes. Pets are welcome for a fee.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Rockpile Vineyards, Ridge Vineyards Lytton Springs and Mauritson Wines are all within about 10 minutes. We are based in Calistoga, in neighboring Napa Valley.
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 12 miles, 20 minutes. The closest airport to The Lodge at Healdsburg, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
Oakland (OAK): about 84 miles, 1 hour 45 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 84 miles, 1 hour 50 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.
Sacramento (SMF): about 113 miles, around 2 hours. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.
Flying private? We also meet guests at the FBOs at STS and Napa County Airport (APC). See our Sonoma County Airport car service page for more on flying into STS.
