Sonoma Creek Inn is a 16-room inn on Boyes Boulevard in the Boyes Hot Springs area, north of Sonoma Plaza. It is one of the Four Sisters Inns, and many of its rooms have private patios.
Rooms have Keurig coffee makers and mini-fridges. Breakfast is not included, and the Creekside Cafe is next door. Dogs are welcome in first-floor rooms, booked in advance by phone, for $25 per dog for up to four nights or $50 for five nights or more.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Hamel Family Wines, Hanzell Vineyards and Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery are all within about 10 minutes. We are based in Calistoga, in neighboring Napa Valley.
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 27 miles, 50 minutes. The closest airport to Sonoma Creek Inn, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
Oakland (OAK): about 59 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 59 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.
Sacramento (SMF): about 76 miles, 1 hour 45 minutes. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.
Flying private? We also meet guests at the FBOs at STS and Napa County Airport (APC). See our Sonoma County Airport car service page for more on flying into STS.
