Napa Winery Inn is a newly updated hotel on Trower Avenue in north Napa, just off Highway 29 at the south end of the valley's wine road. Room types range from traditional kings and queens to a patio king suite and a parlor king suite with a soaking tub.
A continental breakfast is served in the lobby from 6 to 10 a.m., and there is an outdoor pool and hot tub. Wi-Fi and parking are free, there are four EV charging stations, and two dogs of up to 50 pounds are welcome with every stay.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Laird Family Estate, Ashes & Diamonds and J Gregory Wines are all within about 5 minutes, and Yountville is about 10 minutes north. We are based in Calistoga, at the north end of the valley.
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 42 miles, 1 hour 5 minutes. The closest airport to Napa Winery Inn, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
Oakland (OAK): about 54 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 62 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.
Sacramento (SMF): about 67 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.
Flying private? We also meet guests at the FBOs at STS and Napa County Airport (APC). See our Sonoma County Airport car service page for more on flying into STS.
