About the Property

Napa Valley Lodge is a family-owned, Tuscan-inspired lodge on the quiet south edge of Yountville, part of the Woodside Collection. It has welcomed guests for more than fifty years, and all 55 rooms and suites have a private patio or balcony, some with fireplaces or vineyard views.

A Champagne continental breakfast buffet is included each morning, and there is a pool and hot tub in the courtyard, fire pits, bocce and cruiser bikes. There is no resort fee, and the whole town is within walking distance.

It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Opus One Winery, Turnbull Wine Cellars and Chandon are all within about 10 minutes, and St. Helena is about 15 minutes north. We are based in Calistoga, at the north end of the valley.

Getting Here From the Airport

Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 36 miles, 60 minutes. The closest airport to Napa Valley Lodge and the easiest arrival: a short drive over the hills from Santa Rosa, with no Bay Area traffic. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.

San Francisco International (SFO): about 68 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes, and 2 hours or more at busy times. The most flights, with the longest drive, across the Bay Area and up through Napa Valley.

Oakland (OAK): about 60 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO, and a slightly shorter drive.

Sacramento (SMF): about 74 miles, about 1 hour 35 minutes. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.

About 5 minutes away. The Wagner family's Special Selection Cabernet, in Rutherford. The seated tasting is $50 and runs about 90 minutes. By appointment.
