About the Property

Maison Fleurie is a French country inn of 13 rooms in three buildings, set in half an acre of gardens on Yount Street, one block from Washington Street. The historic main building has a huge brick fireplace, and many rooms have fireplaces, patios or jetted spa tubs. It is one of the Four Sisters Inns.

A breakfast buffet with a hot entree is included each morning, with wine and hors d'oeuvres from 5 to 6 p.m. and fresh cookies. There is a seasonally heated pool, a large hot tub and bikes to borrow. One room welcomes dogs.

It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Chandon, Opus One Winery and Turnbull Wine Cellars are all within about 10 minutes, and St. Helena is about 15 minutes north. We are based in Calistoga, at the north end of the valley.

Getting Here From the Airport

Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 36 miles, 60 minutes. The closest airport to Maison Fleurie and the easiest arrival: a short drive over the hills from Santa Rosa, with no Bay Area traffic. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.

San Francisco International (SFO): about 68 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes, and 2 hours or more at busy times. The most flights, with the longest drive, across the Bay Area and up through Napa Valley.

Oakland (OAK): about 60 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO, and a slightly shorter drive.

Sacramento (SMF): about 73 miles, about 1 hour 35 minutes. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.
