About the Winery

Flora Springs began in 1978, when Jerry and Flora Komes bought a vineyard on Zinfandel Lane in St. Helena and made it a new home for their family. By 1980 they were making Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. In 2024 winemaker Gina Gallo-Boisset and Jean-Charles Boisset took over the winery, and Gina now leads the winemaking.

The family released its first Trilogy in 1984, one of the first proprietary red blends in Napa Valley, named for the three Bordeaux varieties in the blend. Soliloquy, a white blend, followed in 1989. The winery building on Highway 29 dates from 1995 and was designed by Joel Miroglio to echo the curves of the Mayacamas Mountains behind it.

In July 2026 the winery reopened after a renovation with the Italian mosaic studio SICIS, which hand-laid more than 5 million glass tiles. Guests taste in caves, at the Goddess Bar, on the Sky Terrace or in the Elysian Courtyard. The family also opened a wine lounge in downtown Napa in February 2026.

Tasting Fees

$40 to $125 for wine flights at the Goddess Bar, on Flora's Sky Terrace or in the Elysian Courtyard. $75 for the Floralis Experience, a guided tasting of five wines ending with Trilogy. $100 each for the Trilogy Experience, with barrel samples and two vintages of Trilogy, and the Journey Experience, with two vintages each of Awakening, Bloom and Harvest.

Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
