About the Property
Hotel Trio Healdsburg is an all-suite Residence Inn by Marriott on Dry Creek Road, on the north side of town near Highway 101. It opened in 2018, and all 122 suites have a full kitchen, with one king or two queen beds.
A hot breakfast is included daily, and there is a self-service coffee and wine bar and a 24-hour lobby market. There is a heated outdoor pool, a bocce court, courtyard fire pits and complimentary bicycles. Up to two dogs, 75 pounds or less, are welcome for a fee.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Rockpile Vineyards, Ridge Vineyards Lytton Springs and Mauritson Wines are all within about 10 minutes. We are based in Calistoga, in neighboring Napa Valley.
Getting Here From the Airport
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 12 miles, 20 minutes. The closest airport to Hotel Trio, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
Oakland (OAK): about 84 miles, 1 hour 45 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 84 miles, 1 hour 50 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.
Sacramento (SMF): about 113 miles, around 2 hours. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.

Adds about an hour. Lytton Springs and Geyserville Zinfandel blends, plus Monte Bello Cabernet, from the winery whose Monte Bello was poured at the 1976 Judgment of Paris. The Estate Tasting is $35 and takes about 75 minutes. Reservations recommended.
