About the Property
The Bergson is a 22-room boutique hotel on Foothill Boulevard in Calistoga, part of Best Western's BW Signature Collection. It sits at the edge of downtown, within walking distance of Calistoga's restaurants, shops and tasting rooms.
Rooms have feather beds, plush bathrobes and free Wi-Fi, and some have balconies and jetted tubs. The hotel also offers a free Calistoga shuttle.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Tank Garage Winery, Romeo Vineyards & Cellars and LOLA Wines are all within about 5 minutes. We are based in Calistoga too.
Getting Here From the Airport
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 19 miles, 35 minutes. The closest airport to The Bergson, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
Oakland (OAK): about 77 miles, 1 hour 45 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 85 miles, 2 hours, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.
Sacramento (SMF): about 90 miles, 2 hours. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.

About 5 minutes away. Italian grapes grown in Napa Valley, such as Sangiovese, Sagrantino and Aglianico, on a family estate on Big Tree Road. The seated Bei Vini flight is $40. Tastings by reservation, with seated times until 3:30 p.m.
