About the Property
Napa Farmhouse Inn is a small bed and breakfast on St. Helena Highway, the stretch of Highway 29 just south of St. Helena, surrounded by some of the valley's best-known wineries.
Rooms come in queen, king and deluxe types, and breakfast is served each morning.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. HALL, Corison, Flora Springs and V. Sattui are all within about 5 minutes, and Rutherford is about 10 minutes south. We are based in Calistoga, at the north end of the valley.
Getting Here From the Airport
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 28 miles, 50 minutes. The closest airport to Napa Farmhouse Inn, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
Oakland (OAK): about 68 miles, 1 hour 35 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 76 miles, 1 hour 45 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.
Sacramento (SMF): about 81 miles, 1 hour 50 minutes. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.

About 5 minutes away. A Rutherford standby on Highway 29 for rotisserie chicken, ribs and burgers, with a patio under the trees. Prefer a picnic? We can arrange a catered picnic at a winery that allows one; the cost is quoted when you book.

About 5 minutes away. The historic Rutherford château reunited by Francis Ford Coppola, home of Rubicon. The Legacy Tasting is $100, about an hour (not on Tuesdays). By reservation, with experiences until about 3:15 p.m.

Adds about an hour. The family winery that made White Zinfandel famous, with a walk-in tasting room on Highway 29 a minute away. Tastings start at $15. Thursday to Monday.
