About the Property
Milliken Creek Inn & Spa is a 12-room inn on three acres along the Napa River, on the Silverado Trail just outside downtown Napa. Its Main House dates to the mid-1850s, when it was a stagecoach stop on Old Mountain Road, and it joined Four Sisters Inns in 2013. The Michelin Guide awards it two Michelin Keys.
A made-to-order breakfast is delivered to your room each morning, with afternoon wine and cheese and cookies. Most rooms have fireplaces and deep soaking tubs, many terraces have fire pits, and massage and spa services are offered on site. Rooms take two guests, and there are no pets.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Darioush, Signorello Estate and Clos du Val are all within about 15 minutes, and Yountville is about 25 minutes north. We are based in Calistoga, at the north end of the valley.
Getting Here From the Airport
Oakland (OAK): about 52 miles, 1 hour 10 minutes. The closest airport to Milliken Creek Inn, and often quieter than SFO.
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 45 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes. Often the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 60 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.
Sacramento (SMF): about 65 miles, 1 hour 25 minutes. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.

About 10 minutes away. A family whose Napa winemaking goes back to 1892, with picnic tables in Rutherford. The Heritage Tasting is $45 and the Single Vineyard Tasting is $75. Book ahead.

About 10 minutes away. Chardonnay from Mike Grgich, who made the Chateau Montelena Chardonnay that won the 1976 Judgment of Paris, grown on certified organic vineyards in Rutherford. Miljenko's Tasting is $60. Seated tastings by reservation.
