About the Property
House of Hurley is a private guest suite in the home of Cynthia and Bob Hurley, in the Alta Heights neighborhood on the east side of Napa. It is a permitted short-term vacation rental for two, reached through its own garden entrance.
The suite has a bedroom with a queen bed and blackout shades, a living room with a smart TV, a stocked kitchenette, a bath and a half, its own heating and air conditioning, and laundry access. A private patio with a fireplace opens onto a large backyard, and the Hurleys offer complimentary concierge help. Stays have a two-night minimum and are booked directly with the hosts.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Ackerman Family Vineyards, Tulocay Winery and Darioush are all within about 10 minutes, and the Stags Leap District is about 15 minutes north. We are based in Calistoga, at the north end of the valley.
Getting Here From the Airport
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 46 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes. The closest airport to House of Hurley, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
Oakland (OAK): about 52 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 59 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.
Sacramento (SMF): about 65 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.
