About the Property

Hilton Garden Inn Napa is an 80-room hotel on Solano Avenue in north Napa, off Highway 29. Rooms include kings, double queens, one-bedroom suites and whirlpool suites, and the hotel is smoke-free.

There is an outdoor pool, and the Garden Grille & Bar serves meals, with an evening wine bar pouring local wines. The hotel has 10 EV chargers, and dogs and cats up to 75 pounds are welcome for a fee.

It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Trefethen Family Vineyards, Robert Biale Vineyards and Darioush are all within about 15 minutes, and Yountville is about 15 minutes north. We are based in Calistoga, at the north end of the valley.

About 15 minutes away. A Trinchero family winery in Oakville, tasting in a geodesic dome on its original five acres. Guided tastings start at $40, and the Wine and Potato Chip Pairing is $55. Reservations recommended, and walk-ins are welcome.

Optional: Frias Family Vineyard

Adds about an hour. Spring Mountain Cabernet from the Frias family, who bought their 100 acres above St. Helena in 1977, poured at their Napa Tasting Salon in north Napa. The tasting is $85, waived with six bottles of Cabernet per couple. Private appointments only.
