DoubleTree by Hilton Napa Valley American Canyon is on Highway 29 at the south entry to Napa Valley. Hilton describes it as the world's first 100% Gold LEED-certified hotel.
Table 29 Bistro & Bar serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with the Terrace 29 patio and room service. There is an outdoor pool and a fitness center, and pets up to 75 pounds are welcome for a fee.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Saintsbury, Domaine Carneros and Etude Wines are all within about 25 minutes, and downtown Napa is about 20 minutes north. We are based in Calistoga, at the north end of the valley.
Oakland (OAK): about 42 miles, 55 minutes. The closest airport to DoubleTree Napa Valley, and often quieter than SFO.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 50 miles, 1 hour 5 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 52 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes. Often the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
Sacramento (SMF): about 60 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.
Flying private? We also meet guests at the FBOs at STS and Napa County Airport (APC). See our Sonoma County Airport car service page for more on flying into STS.
