The Cottages at Little Saint are four standalone cottages on Foss Street, built in the 1980s and reimagined by designer Ken Fulk. They are tied to Little Saint, the restaurant, cafe, bar and music venue founded by Laurie Ubben. The Michelin Guide awards them one Michelin Key.
Guests have a heated pool and onsite parking, and Little Saint is next door for meals and drinks. Up to two dogs under 75 pounds are welcome per stay.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Rockpile Vineyards, Hirsch Vineyards and Stonestreet Estate Vineyards are all within about 10 minutes. We are based in Calistoga, in neighboring Napa Valley.
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 10 miles, 20 minutes. The closest airport to The Cottages at Little Saint, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
Oakland (OAK): about 82 miles, 1 hour 45 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 82 miles, 1 hour 50 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.
Sacramento (SMF): about 114 miles, around 2 hours. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.
Flying private? We also meet guests at the FBOs at STS and Napa County Airport (APC). See our Sonoma County Airport car service page for more on flying into STS.
