About the Property

The Sebastopol Inn is a 31-room boutique hotel on Sebastopol Avenue, next to The Barlow and the Laguna de Santa Rosa wetlands preserve. Rooms include courtyard rooms, suites with living areas, and rooms with private balconies or patios, and accessible rooms are available.

There is a secluded heated seasonal pool and hot tub, and a garden courtyard with a fountain. Coffee Catz cafe is on the property, and downtown Sebastopol's restaurants are a short walk.

It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Emeritus Vineyards, Merry Edwards Winery and Red Car Wine are all within about 10 minutes. We are based in Calistoga, in neighboring Napa Valley.

Getting Here From the Airport

Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 11 miles, 25 minutes. The closest airport to the Sebastopol Inn, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.

Oakland (OAK): about 68 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.

San Francisco International (SFO): about 68 miles, 1 hour 35 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.

Sacramento (SMF): about 98 miles, around 2 hours. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.

About 10 minutes away. Camp Meeting Ridge and Sea View Ridge Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the far Sonoma Coast, poured on Westside Road. The Sonoma Coast Journey with a snack board is $75. Reservations required, Thursday to Monday.

About 15 minutes away. Estate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from old vines on Westside Road, made by owner Alex Davis. The Grand Tasting is $50, waived with a 2-bottle purchase. Book ahead, or walk in as space allows.

Adds about an hour. Single-vineyard Pinot Noir and Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc from a pioneer of Pinot Noir clones. The Appellation Tasting is $45; allow 60 to 90 minutes. By appointment.
