About the Property
The Jenner Inn is a historic inn on a four-acre site in Jenner, overlooking the Russian River estuary on the Sonoma Coast. Its seven rooms, cottages and suite include the Treehouse, the Waterfall Cottage and the Fort Ross Suite, and the current owners have run it for more than a decade.
The Jenner Inn Cafe serves breakfast and lunch daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the historic dining room, with a river-view patio. Kayak rentals are available, and dogs are welcome in most rooms.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Korbel Champagne Cellars, Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery and Black Kite Cellars are all within about 45 minutes. We are based in Calistoga, in neighboring Napa Valley.
Getting Here From the Airport
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 28 miles, 55 minutes. The closest airport to the Jenner Inn, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
Oakland (OAK): about 90 miles, 2 hours 5 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 90 miles, 2 hours 10 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.
Sacramento (SMF): about 122 miles, around 2 hours. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.

About 35 minutes away. California champagne made by méthode champenoise on the Russian River near Guerneville since 1882. The one-hour museum and cellar tour is free, and a bar flight is $15. No reservations needed.

About 25 minutes away. A café, soda fountain and general store at the center of Graton since 1995, serving down-home comfort food. Lunch from 11:30 a.m. Prefer a picnic? We can arrange a catered picnic at a winery that allows one; the cost is quoted when you book.

About 5 minutes away. Coastal Pinot Noir, Syrah and Chardonnay, poured on Graton Road in Sebastopol. The Coastal Reserve Tasting is $35, waived with a two-bottle purchase. Walk-ins welcome.

About 15 minutes away. Single-vineyard Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and old-vine Zinfandel, poured at private patio tables in Forestville. The Vineyard Exploration of five wines is $60. By appointment, with walk-ins when space allows.

Adds about an hour. Single-vineyard and single-block Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with wine caves, on Westside Road. The Estate Tasting with arancini is $40. Thursday to Monday.
