About the Property
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Napa Valley-American Canyon is a select-service hotel on Main Street in American Canyon, at the southern gateway to Napa Valley.
A free breakfast is served each morning, and there is an outdoor heated pool and whirlpool, a fitness center, an outdoor patio and a convenience store. Parking is free for guests, and up to two pets of 50 pounds or less are welcome for $57 per stay.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Saintsbury, Domaine Carneros and Etude Wines are all within about 20 minutes, and downtown Napa is about 20 minutes north. We are based in Calistoga, at the north end of the valley.

Oakland (OAK): about 42 miles, 55 minutes. The closest airport to Holiday Inn Express American Canyon, and often quieter than SFO.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 50 miles, 1 hour 5 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 52 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes. Often the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
Sacramento (SMF): about 61 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.

About 20 minutes away. Stags Leap District Cabernet from vineyard blocks named for rock songs, with an art gallery on site. The Reserved Tasting is $70, and bar tastings start at $40.
