About the Property

Harmon Guest House is a 39-room boutique hotel on Healdsburg Avenue, designed by San Francisco architect David Baker. The check-in desk is made from a single fallen eucalyptus tree, and every room has a balcony or patio.

The Rooftop bar looks out over Fitch Mountain and downtown, and rooms have bar carts stocked with locally crafted spirits. There is a pool, and a continental breakfast is served next door at Spoonbar in sister hotel h2hotel. Pets are welcome for $99 plus tax per stay.

It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Rockpile Vineyards, Hirsch Vineyards and Stonestreet Estate Vineyards are all within about 10 minutes. We are based in Calistoga, in neighboring Napa Valley.

Getting Here From the Airport

Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 10 miles, 15 minutes. The closest airport to Harmon Guest House, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.

Oakland (OAK): about 82 miles, 1 hour 45 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.

San Francisco International (SFO): about 82 miles, 1 hour 50 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.

Sacramento (SMF): about 114 miles, around 2 hours. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.

About 5 minutes away. A country store since 1881 at the crossroads of Dry Creek Valley, with a deli for sandwiches, soups and salads, a front porch over the valley and a garden out back. Prefer a picnic? We can arrange a catered picnic at a winery that allows one; the cost is quoted when you book.
