About the Property
Best Western Garden Inn is a garden-style hotel on Santa Rosa Avenue, just south of downtown Santa Rosa and close to the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. Many rooms open straight onto a landscaped garden with fountains, local plants and rustic benches.
There is a heated outdoor pool, and the Garden Café serves breakfast and dinner. Rooms have a microwave and mini-fridge, and there is a family suite and an apartment-style suite with a full kitchen. Dogs are welcome in designated rooms.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Railroad Square's tasting rooms are about 5 minutes away, and the Russian River Valley Pinot Noir wineries around Sebastopol are about 15. We are based in Calistoga, in neighboring Napa Valley.
Getting Here From the Airport
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 9 miles, 15 minutes. The closest airport to Best Western Garden Inn, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
