About the Property
Vino Bello Resort, now Club Wyndham Vino Bello Resort, is a Tuscan-style condo resort at the southern gateway to Napa Valley, beside The Meritage Resort, with a wine cave, tasting room and onsite concierge.
The one- and two-bedroom suites have a balcony, fireplace, full kitchen and washer and dryer. Guests can use a day spa, three hot tubs and two heated outdoor pools, two restaurants and two bars, an aquatic playground, two fitness centers, a bowling alley and a bocce court, and a free evening shuttle runs into downtown Napa.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Trinitas Cellars is next door, and the Carneros wineries are about 10 to 15 minutes west. We are based in Calistoga, at the north end of the valley.
Getting Here From the Airport
Oakland (OAK): about 48 miles, 1 hour 10 minutes. The closest airport to Vino Bello Resort. Often a quieter airport than SFO.
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 48 miles, 1 hour 15 minutes. A small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 56 miles, 1 hour 20 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.
Sacramento (SMF): about 61 miles, 1 hour 25 minutes. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.
