About the Property

SingleThread is a five-room inn above the three-Michelin-star SingleThread restaurant on North Street, founded by chef Kyle Connaughton and farmer Katina Connaughton. The restaurant opened in 2016, and the rooms include a 700-square-foot suite. The Michelin Guide awards the inn three Michelin Keys, and it is a Relais & Chateaux member.

Inn guests are guaranteed a dinner reservation at the restaurant, with in-room dining available as an alternative to the 10-course tasting menu. A Japanese or Sonoma breakfast is included each morning.

It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Rockpile Vineyards, Hirsch Vineyards and Stonestreet Estate Vineyards are all within about 10 minutes. We are based in Calistoga, in neighboring Napa Valley.

Getting Here From the Airport

Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 10 miles, 20 minutes. The closest airport to SingleThread, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.

Oakland (OAK): about 82 miles, 1 hour 45 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.

San Francisco International (SFO): about 82 miles, 1 hour 50 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.

Sacramento (SMF): about 114 miles, around 2 hours. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.

About 5 minutes away. A bakery café and a Healdsburg tradition since 1923, a short walk from the plaza. Open daily from 7:30 a.m. Prefer a picnic? We can arrange a catered picnic at a winery that allows one; the cost is quoted when you book.

About 10 minutes away. Traditional-method sparkling wine and Russian River Valley Pinot Noir south of Healdsburg. The standing Signature Tasting is $35 and the seated Legacy Lounge tasting $50. Thursday to Monday; reservations recommended.

About 20 minutes away. Camp Meeting Ridge and Sea View Ridge Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the far Sonoma Coast, poured on Westside Road. The Sonoma Coast Journey with a snack board is $75. Reservations required, Thursday to Monday.
