About the Property
Pleasure Cove Marina is a full-service marina with lakeside cabins on the south end of Lake Berryessa, just off Highway 128 in the hills east of Napa Valley. Cabins range from a studio for four to a four-bedroom VIP cabin for ten, each with lake views.
Cabins come with linens, a private bathroom, a mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot, air conditioning and heat, and a picnic table and barbecue pit. The marina rents boats and has slips, camp and RV sites, swimming off the side of the cove away from the docks, and leashed pets are allowed.
It is also a scenic place to start a wine tour. MS Torun Winery is about 5 minutes up the hill, and the wineries of Wooden Valley and Monticello Road are about 30 to 40 minutes away. We are based in Calistoga, at the north end of the valley.
Getting Here From the Airport
Sacramento (SMF): about 50 miles, 1 hour 35 minutes. The closest airport to Pleasure Cove, and it skips Bay Area traffic entirely.
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 55 miles, 1 hour 45 minutes. A small, easy airport in Santa Rosa, with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
Oakland (OAK): about 72 miles, 2 hours 5 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 79 miles, 2 hours 15 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.

About 15 minutes away. A 3,800-acre mountain preserve in Napa's southeast corner. The Estate Tour & Tasting of the vineyards, tank room and cave is $110 and runs 1 hour 15 minutes. By appointment only; reservations are required before you arrive at the gate.
2:20 · Mount George Winery
About 5 minutes away. A small family winery at the base of Mt. George, where the owners host every visit on the terrace, in the winery and in the caves. The hosted experience is $80. By appointment only.

About 35 minutes away. Back by 4:00 p.m., six hours after pickup.
Optional: Nichelini Family Winery
Adds about an hour. A five-generation family winery on Sage Canyon Road, on Highway 128 toward the lake, with a hand-hewn stone cellar from the 1890s. The Signature Tasting is $30. Open Friday to Sunday from 11 a.m., and Thursday afternoons.
