About the Property

Graton Resort & Casino is owned by the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria and sits just off US-101 in Rohnert Park. The casino opened in 2013 and the six-story, 200-room hotel followed in 2016. It received a AAA Four Diamond rating in 2021.

Rooms are Premium King or Premium Double Queen, each 515 square feet. There is a full-service spa and salon for guests 18 and over, a pool with cabanas and a pool bar, a fitness center for hotel guests, and a 24-hour casino. Restaurants include AYA, 630 Park Steakhouse, Tony's of North Beach and Boathouse Asian Eatery, and valet parking and room service are available.

It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Merry Edwards Winery, Bob Cabral Wines and Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens are all within about 25 minutes. We are based in Calistoga, in neighboring Napa Valley.

Getting Here From the Airport

Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 14 miles, 25 minutes. The closest airport to Graton Resort, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.

Oakland (OAK): about 63 miles, 1 hour 25 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.

San Francisco International (SFO): about 63 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.

Sacramento (SMF): about 95 miles, around 2 hours. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.

About 25 minutes away. A bakery café and a Healdsburg tradition since 1923, a short walk from the plaza. Open daily from 7:30 a.m. Prefer a picnic? We can arrange a catered picnic at a winery that allows one; the cost is quoted when you book.

About 5 minutes away. Estate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from a far Sonoma Coast vineyard, poured in downtown Healdsburg. Discover Hirsch, a communal tasting of four wines, is $45. By appointment only.

2:15 · Rodney Strong Vineyards

About 10 minutes away. Chalk Hill Chardonnay, Russian River Valley Pinot Noir and Alexander Valley Cabernet from a winery founded in 1959. The Introductory Flight is $25. Thursday to Sunday; reservations highly recommended.

About 35 minutes away. Back by 4:00 p.m., six hours after pickup.

Optional: Adobe Road Winery

Adds about an hour. Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and the Racing Series blends from race car driver Kevin Buckler, poured in downtown Petaluma. The Classic Tasting is $40. Walk-ins welcome; call or text to reserve.
