Three Stars Wine

About the Winery

Three Stars Wine takes its name from a family habit. As a single parent, the founder drew three stars on his daughters' school lunches, a sign of their bond and a reminder to reach for the stars. The winery carries the same idea into the cellar, with small-batch, handcrafted Napa wines and a goal of five-star quality at prices below the valley's top tier.

Winemaker Kian Tavakoli of KT Wine Consulting has more than 30 years of experience, including 12 years at Opus One and Clos du Val. The flagship is the Tucker Cabernet Sauvignon from the eight-acre Tucker Family Vineyard in the Coombsville AVA, planted entirely to Clone 6. Fruit also comes from Stagecoach Vineyards, the largest contiguous vineyard in Napa Valley, and Ozegna Vineyards on the valley floor.

Current releases include the 2019, 2021 and 2023 Tucker Cabernets and a Napa Valley red blend. Orders go through the online shop, by phone at 707-968-1068 or by email to info@threestarswine.com. Three Stars does not publish a tasting room, hours or tastings, so the day below takes you to Coombsville and Oak Knoll estates that do host.
