Kingsmark is the kosher Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon of Whitney Skibell, the niece of Napa vintner and restaurateur Leslie Rudd. She launched it with the 2021 vintage, and the winery presents it as the first and only kosher wine from Atelier Melka. The bottle comes in a collector's box with a gold-embossed label that won a Graphis design award.
The wine is made by Philippe Melka, who worked at Château Haut-Brion before settling in Napa, and Maayan Koschitzky, named one of Wine Enthusiast's 40 Under 40 in 2019. The 2021 drew on Georges III in Rutherford and Roy Estate in Soda Canyon, with fewer than 200 cases made. The Kingsmark site quotes a 98-point review by critic Jonathan Cristaldi.
Kingsmark is sold by allocation and poured at restaurants and hotels that include The French Laundry, Spago Beverly Hills, Carbone and The Little Nell. It has no tasting room and publishes no visiting program, so it does not receive visitors. Since Georges III ties the wine to Rutherford, the day below visits upvalley estates, two of them pouring Georges III Cabernet.
Kingsmark does not offer tastings.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.

Since Kingsmark does not host visitors, this day takes you to three sought-after estates nearby that do, two of them pouring Cabernet from the same Georges III Vineyard. Vineyard 7 & 8 starts its first tasting at 10 a.m., about 20 minutes up Spring Mountain from either hotel in St. Helena, so pickup is a little early. The day runs about six and a half hours, and extra time can be added by the hour.
About 20 minutes away. A small family estate high on Spring Mountain, where a tour of the property comes before a seated tasting of current and library estate wines. The Estate Tasting is $175 (refunded with each three-bottle Cabernet purchase); we allow about 90 minutes. Prepaid, by appointment, Monday to Saturday, from 10 a.m.
About 20 minutes away. Winemaker Mike Smith's own label of Cabernet from Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, To Kalon and Georges III, poured at Brasswood north of St. Helena. Tastings are $125, about 90 minutes, usually four to six wines. By appointment, with priority for mailing list members; we arrange it on your behalf.
About 8 minutes away. Lunch at The Charter Oak in St. Helena, a sit-down restaurant cooking over an open hearth, open daily from 11:30 a.m. (brunch from 11 a.m. on weekends). Prefer a picnic? We can arrange a catered picnic at a winery that allows one; the cost is quoted when you book.
About 10 minutes away. A small allocation house making Beckstoffer To Kalon and Georges III Cabernet, poured in the cave lounge at Hunnicutt on the Silverado Trail. The hosted tasting with light bites is $150; we allow about 75 minutes. By prior arrangement only; availability is intentionally limited.
Back by about 4:20 p.m., about six and a half hours after pickup.
About $450 per person in tasting fees for the three wineries, paid directly to each winery.
Vineyard 7 & 8 hosts Monday to Saturday, and Myriad and Boich set times by arrangement, so plan this day for Monday to Saturday and allow a few weeks to confirm. The day runs past six hours; extra time is billed by the hour. Three wineries is the right pace for a day of serious tasting.
Every tour is custom. This day is a starting point: your chauffeur will shape it around what matters to you, and we plan multi-day tours for guests who want to see more of wine country.
