About the Winery

Chris Pratt Cellars is the label of a Napa winemaker named Chris Pratt (not the actor). He came to Napa in 1999 with the goal of mastering winemaking, and making wines of his own seemed out of reach. In 2015, in his words, he scraped together a small amount of money and a large amount of debt and started the label, with the help of friends, family and a loyal group of wine lovers.

Production is limited and handcrafted in Napa Valley. The current releases are a 2022 Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2021 I Said Goddamn! Cabernet from the Lewelling Vineyard, the 2020 Time, the Revelator Cabernet and the 2019 Ingrid Proprietary Red. Earlier vintages back to 2015 are listed on the site.

The wines are sold through the winery's website, by the bottle or in six- and twelve-bottle lots. There is no tasting room and no published visit program, so Chris Pratt Cellars does not receive visitors. The day below stays around St. Helena, with a mountain estate, a wood-fired bread pairing and a new hilltop Cabernet house.

Tasting Fees

Chris Pratt Cellars does not offer tastings.

4:05 · Back to your hotel

Back by about 4:15 p.m., about six hours after pickup.

About $350 per person in tasting fees for the three wineries, paid directly to each winery.

Oakham hosts Monday to Friday and Vineyard 7 & 8 Monday to Saturday, so plan this day for a weekday. Three wineries is the right pace for a day of serious tasting.
