About the Property
Kenwood Inn & Spa is a Mediterranean-style inn modeled after Tuscan villas, on 2.5 landscaped acres surrounded by vineyards and oaks. It opened in June 1989, and its rooms and suites each have a private entrance, set around three flagstone courtyards with fountains. It is one of the Four Sisters Inns.
Rooms have fireplaces and featherbeds, and some have balconies and jacuzzi tubs. The Spa at Kenwood Inn offers vinotherapy, facials and massages for overnight guests, and there is a pool, a warming pool and a hot tub. Breakfast, an afternoon wine hour and evening cordials are included, and dogs are welcome for a fee.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Loxton Cellars, Mayo Family Winery and Ledson Winery & Vineyards are all within about 5 minutes. We are based in Calistoga, in neighboring Napa Valley.
Getting Here From the Airport
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 20 miles, 35 minutes. The closest airport to Kenwood Inn & Spa, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
Oakland (OAK): about 67 miles, 1 hour 35 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 67 miles, 1 hour 40 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.
Sacramento (SMF): about 83 miles, around 2 hours. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.

About 10 minutes away. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the former Williams Selyem winemaker, poured in a living-room style lounge on the Paradise Ridge property. A private tasting is $75. By appointment, Monday to Saturday.
