About the Property

The Flamingo Resort and Spa is a renovated mid-century resort on Fourth Street in Santa Rosa, now part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton. It has 170 rooms and suites, and its Vintage Space lounge dates to 1957. The resort is included in the Michelin Guide.

There is a central pool, plus a 25-meter lap pool, tennis and pickleball at The Club at Flamingo, and The Spa at Flamingo. Lazeaway Club serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with the Early Bird Cafe, poolside food from a vintage van, and live music and comedy in Vintage Space. Dogs are welcome for a fee.

It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Bob Cabral Wines, Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens and Paradise Ridge Winery are all within about 15 minutes. We are based in Calistoga, in neighboring Napa Valley.

Getting Here From the Airport

Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 9 miles, 20 minutes. The closest airport to Flamingo Resort, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.

Oakland (OAK): about 69 miles, 1 hour 30 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.

San Francisco International (SFO): about 69 miles, 1 hour 35 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.

Sacramento (SMF): about 93 miles, around 2 hours. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.
