About the Property
Boho Manor is a boutique hotel on River Boulevard in Monte Rio, on the Russian River, styled as a Gatsby-era escape with gold accents and bold colors. It was most recently the Village Inn & Restaurant, and its history goes back to 1906, when a summer home here opened as the River View Inn; the property also appeared in the 1942 film Holiday Inn.
There is an outdoor pool, a spa and the Boho Lounge, and the restaurant serves dinner Thursday to Saturday. Riverside yoga runs on Saturday mornings, and dogs are welcome, with dog beds and a doggy menu.
It is also an easy place to start a wine tour. Equality Vines in Guerneville is about 10 minutes away, and Korbel Champagne Cellars about 15. We are based in Calistoga, in neighboring Napa Valley.
Getting Here From the Airport
Sonoma County Airport (STS): about 20 miles, 40 minutes. The closest airport to Boho Manor, and the easiest arrival: a small airport in Santa Rosa with no Bay Area traffic on the drive. Direct flights come in from Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas and more.
Oakland (OAK): about 87 miles, 2 hours 15 minutes. Often a quieter airport than SFO.
San Francisco International (SFO): about 87 miles, 2 hours 20 minutes, and longer at busy times. The most flights, with a drive across the Bay Area.
Sacramento (SMF): about 116 miles, 3 hours. Skips Bay Area traffic entirely, though it is the longest drive of the four.
