About the Winery

Right Turn Wine Co. is a long-time collaboration between Healdsburg friends Ross Reedy and Tyler Hayes that grew from backyard tasting sessions into blending trials and, finally, wines of their own. Ross learned to grow grapes visiting his grandfather in Alexander Valley and punched down Cabernet with his father in the family garage before studying wine and viticulture at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He has long been the winemaker at Truett Hurst and VML, and consults for other brands. Tyler, who grew up in Georgia, has lived in Healdsburg since 2018 and works for a winery in downtown Healdsburg.

The approach is simple: carefully farmed fruit, fermented with as little manipulation as possible and little to no additives or commercial yeast. The wines come in small batches of reds and whites, and the name reflects the partners' go-with-the-flow attitude: you are never lost if you don't use a map.

Right Turn sells online and through its email list, Postcards from RTW, with no tasting room or appointments, so it does not receive visitors. The day below stays close to home in Healdsburg, including Truett Hurst, where Ross Reedy makes the wine.

Tasting Fees

Right Turn Wine Co. does not offer tastings.

The day below visits Seghesio ($30), Truett Hurst ($25) and Mauritson ($30), about $85 per person in tasting fees.

Tasting fees as of October 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
