Korbin Kameron belongs to the Ming family: Mitchell and Jenny Ming and their children, Kristin, Korbin and Kameron. The family found the 186-acre property on a drive through the Sonoma Valley and, after years of planning and planting, brought in its first harvest from land that seems to sit above the clouds. Korbin Ming, who holds a master's degree from UC Davis, is general manager, viticulturist and winemaker, working with winemaker Timothy Milos.
The 19-acre estate vineyard was planted in 2000 at 2,300 feet on the ridge of the Mayacamas at the top of Cavedale Road, straddling the Napa-Sonoma county line, so the winery describes itself as both Moon Mountain District and Mount Veeder. It grows Bordeaux varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot, with Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc budded onto two acres, mostly on gravelly Suther loam over ancient seabed and volcanic ash. Phil Coturri has farmed it holistically since 2013, with cover crops, compost teas and an eye on biodiversity.
The vineyard is a private family property and is closed to the public. The wines, current releases and library vintages, are sold through the winery's website and its Twin Society wine club.
Korbin Kameron does not offer tastings.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.

Since Korbin Kameron does not host visitors, this day takes you to three sought-after estates nearby that do. About 10 minutes away. George and Pam Hamel's family winery farms certified Biodynamic, mostly dry-farmed volcanic vineyards, including Nuns Canyon in the Moon Mountain District. Every visit starts with a tour of the winery and its underground caves, then a seated tasting in the Estate House behind a grove of century-old olive trees; the Estate Experience is about 1½ hours ($95). Reservations only, with tours at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
About 15 minutes away. John and Nancy Lasseter's organic estate in Glen Ellen, on a property founded by a French winemaker in 1894; John directed Toy Story. The Patio Tasting of five estate wines looks out over the vineyards ($60), and the Estate Vineyard Tour by club cart through century-old Heritage Block Zinfandel, with cheese and charcuterie, is $95. Reservations required.
About 10 minutes away. Todd Lake's restaurant on the Sonoma Highway in Kenwood, with a steakhouse and seafood grill, an oyster bar and craft cocktails, looking out to the Mayacamas. Lunch Thursday to Tuesday from 11 a.m. Prefer a picnic? We can arrange a catered picnic at a winery that allows one; the cost is quoted when you book.
About 5 minutes away. Robert and PJ Rex's family winery in Kenwood is built around a 23,000-square-foot cave. The Reserve Tasting in the Cave pours five aged Reserve wines with a dedicated server, and includes footage of the cave being dug ($75). Reservations online; open daily 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Back in Kenwood or Glen Ellen by 3:20 p.m., within six hours of pickup.
Three wineries is the right pace for a day of serious tasting. This day works every day but Wednesday, when Salt+Stone does not serve lunch; Hamel and Lasseter take reservations only, so we book both in advance.
About $230 per person in tasting fees for the three wineries, paid directly to each winery.
