The Vice belongs to Malek Amrani and Torie Greenberg. Malek, the founder and winemaker, was born in Morocco, is a Team USA athlete and Level 3 sommelier, and spent a decade in New York as a top salesman for Moët Hennessy and Diageo. Torie, who studied at Parsons, leads the brand and design. Their motto is 'Born in Napa. Raised in New York.'
The idea is range. The Vice makes wine from 15 of Napa Valley's sub-regions, which it says no other vintner offers under one label, and its single-vineyard wines are each made from one variety. The winery says its Cabernet Sauvignon was the first wine released from the Crystal Springs District, and it lists more than 90 ratings of 90 points or higher in three years. Everyday 'House' wines sit beside small limited batches.
Visits are by appointment only. The Vice Estate Experience is a private tasting for two to six guests at the estate on Old Soda Springs Road, in the hills east of the city of Napa, with wines from across the valley's appellations poured side by side. It is a good way to taste the differences between Napa's sub-regions in one sitting, and we book it for you.
$145 for The Vice Estate Experience, a private tasting for 2 to 6 guests, prepaid. The length is not published; we allow about 90 minutes.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
