About the Winery

Revik Wine Co. was founded on the idea of making singular wines from its own vineyards. It started in 2015 with two barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon from Diogenes Ridge, on the upper slopes of Howell Mountain, and spent its first years experimenting with Cabernet, Tempranillo, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from like-minded Northern California growers. Philip, who answers the winery's email and phone, grew up on the home vineyard.

Since the 2020 vintage, Revik has focused only on its Saphi Vineyard in the Coombsville AVA. Saphi was planted in 2013 to Cabernet Sauvignon (clone 337) and Sauvignon Blanc (clone 1), and its name combines the first names of Philip and his sister Sasha. The site is dry-farmed and organically farmed, and Revik says the cool temperatures and gravelly loam of this corner of Napa Valley give the grapes a little more hang time.

There is no tasting room; the winery lists only a post office box in Napa, so Revik does not receive visitors. Its past Saphi Sauvignon Blancs and 2019 Cabernet are sold out, and the site says new wines will be released this fall. The day below starts in Coombsville at a cave winery and continues along the Silverado Trail.

Tasting Fees

Revik does not offer tastings.

The day below visits Palmaz ($150), Darioush ($80) and Silverado Vineyards ($50), about $280 per person in tasting fees.

Tasting fees as of October 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
