About the Winery

Grant and Megan Long found this historic 26-acre hillside property at the base of Howell Mountain in 2017 and made it the home of Reverie. Grant Long Jr. guides the winemaking, which is built around single-vineyard, Bordeaux-style mountain wines. Each wine starts with a specific vineyard, chosen to show its soil and site.

The wines are made in very small quantities and are not sold through distributors, restaurants or shops; they go to members of the Reverie Allocation and to guests who visit the estate. The range runs from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and a Special Reserve to Barbera, Tempranillo, Grenache Blanc and a Blanc de Blanc.

Tastings are privately hosted at the estate and book up well in advance. Reservations are requested by email, and parties of 8 or more should say so when booking, since large-group slots are limited. The estate sits off Crystal Springs Road, about 10 minutes from downtown St. Helena, in the Howell Mountain AVA.

Tasting Fees

Reverie does not publish a tasting fee online; it is confirmed when the private tasting is booked.

Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
