PerUs Wine

About the Winery

PerUs was founded by a group of friends led by Anmol Bhandari, who believed life is measured by friends, family and shared memories rather than possessions. The wine is made by Russell Bevan, a former Wine Spectator columnist turned winemaker whose wines have earned perfect scores from Robert Parker. The team around the label includes Master Sommeliers Dustin Wilson and Willi Sherer.

The wines are sold by allocation, and the allocation is by invitation only, extended to people who share the founders' view of a full, well-lived life. PerUs sources from vineyards around Napa Valley and makes its wines at Tench Vineyard, in the heart of Oakville along the Silverado Trail, inside the Oakville AVA.

Visits are private and by request. The team guides you through a multi-vintage lineup of PerUs wines with a cheese and charcuterie board paired to them, for parties of one to eight, at times between noon and 7 p.m. Requests are limited, and the team calls personally to arrange each one, so we send the request well ahead.

Tasting Fees

Tasting fees to be verified upon reservation. The private tasting includes a paired cheese and charcuterie board.

Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.

A Suggested Six-Hour Day

Pickup at 10:45 a.m. from a nearby hotel such as Auberge du Soleil or Rancho Caymus Inn.

10:45 · Pickup at Auberge du Soleil or Rancho Caymus Inn

PerUs hosts from noon, so this day starts with a nearby estate and lunch, then the PerUs tasting in the early afternoon. Both Rutherford hotels are about 10 minutes from the first stop. The day runs about six hours, and extra time can be added by the hour.

11:00 · Paradigm Winery

About 10 minutes away. Ren and Marilyn Harris's 55-acre family estate in west Oakville, which makes wine only from its own fruit; Heidi Barrett was the founding winemaker. A private visit and tasting by appointment; we plan about an hour, and the format and any fee are confirmed by the winery.

12:15 · Lunch at Rutherford Grill

About 8 minutes away. Lunch at Rutherford Grill at the Rutherford crossroads, a sit-down grill open daily. Prefer a picnic? We can arrange a catered picnic at a winery that allows one; the cost is quoted when you book.

1:30 · PerUs Wine

About 8 minutes away. The private multi-vintage tasting at Tench Vineyard with paired cheese and charcuterie. We plan about 90 minutes; the time and fee are confirmed by the PerUs team.

3:15 · Hestan Vineyards

About 12 minutes away. A concrete, steel and glass tasting salon in Yountville for the Cheng family's estate in the eastern hills. The seated Cabernet Tasting of six library and current Cabernets is $60; we allow about an hour.

4:15 · Back to your hotel

Back by about 4:35 p.m., about six hours after pickup.

About $60 per person in tasting fees for Hestan, plus the fees for PerUs and Paradigm (confirmed when we book), paid directly to each winery.

PerUs tastings are held between noon and 7 p.m., so the PerUs visit is in the early afternoon and the featured tasting is not the first stop.

Every tour is custom. This day is a starting point: your chauffeur will shape it around what matters to you, and we plan multi-day tours for guests who want to see more of wine country.
