MILK takes its name from its two founding families: Josh and Jenna Miles, restaurateurs from the Rochester and Buffalo area of New York, and their close friends Tyler and Alicia Wolk. Miles plus Wolk makes MILK. The brand presents its wine with modern branding rather than traditional winery imagery.
The first and main wine is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Rutherford, with grapes sourced by consulting winemaker Ray Coursen of Elyse Winery from a plot on the valley floor. Releases have been small: 120 cases of the 2014 Limited Edition Cabernet Sauvignon, released in 2017, and 120 cases of the 2021 Napa Valley Rutherford Cabernet, released in 2024 alongside 60 cases of a Sonoma County Chardonnay. A 2023 Sonoma County Chardonnay followed in 2025.
There is no tasting room, and Milk does not receive visitors. The wines are released in small lots and have been sold at retailers such as Lisa's Liquor Barn in the Rochester area. The day below stays in Rutherford, the appellation Milk's Cabernet comes from, at three estates that do host.
Milk Wines does not offer tastings.
On the day below, tastings are $50 at Beaulieu Vineyard, $100 at Inglenook and $50 at Frog's Leap, paid directly to each winery.
Tasting fees as of October 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
