Book a Six-Hour Wine Tour
Luther Family Vineyards belongs to Pablo and Sherri Luther, who traveled the world's wine regions to learn about terroir, practices and people before buying a boutique vineyard property in 2018. The vineyard is on Coombsville Road in Napa, in the Coombsville AVA.
Coombsville was named an AVA in 2011 and is the southernmost growing area near the city of Napa. The Luthers point to its cool nights from the nearby San Francisco Bay and warm, sunny days, and a late harvest that gives Cabernet a long time to ripen. Most of the grapes are sold to another winery; the family keeps enough to make a small batch of its own wine, which it describes as elegant and complex.
There is no tasting room or published tasting program. Because quantities are so limited, the family invites buyers to join its mailing list, and the website offers a contact form. The day below stays in Coombsville and Napa, at three family estates that do host.
Luther Family Vineyards does not offer tastings.
On the day below, Tulocay's seated tasting is $35, Farella's private tasting is $50, and Caldwell's Vineyard Tasting Experience is $150.
Tasting fees as of October 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
