LÚNASA is the wine venture of Ciji and Jordan Jeffries, who married in 2018. Jordan grew up on his family's golf course in Oregon, studied viticulture and enology at UC Davis, worked a harvest in Stellenbosch and today is also Director of Winemaking at Brasswood's custom crush facility in Calistoga. Ciji came to wine from an executive career in financial services.
The name comes from Lúnasa, an ancient harvest celebration once widely observed in Ireland and Scotland, and the label shows a wheat "harvest knot" called the Double Heart Farmer's Knot. The Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Poston Crest Vineyard, an 8-acre family-owned vineyard in the hills at the north end of Calistoga, within the Calistoga AVA, cooled by breezes from Alexander Valley. A Viognier comes from Catie's Corner in the Russian River Valley.
There is no tasting room. The couple hosts tastings by request at the vineyard in Calistoga, and will also bring the wines to a dinner or private tasting elsewhere. We contact them on your behalf and confirm the time and what they can offer for your date.
LÚNASA does not publish a tasting fee. The format and any cost of a vineyard tasting are confirmed by the winery when the request is accepted.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
