Lee and Cristina Hudson's ranch covers about 2,000 acres in Carneros, at the southern end of Napa Valley. More than 45 years of winegrowing have gone into it, and the ranch grows wine grapes for its own Hudson wines. The family farms over 200 acres of vines, from Chardonnay and Syrah to Cabernet Franc, Grenache and Albariño.
It is a working farm as much as a vineyard. The ranch grows Tuscan olives for oil, raises heritage breed livestock and grows fruit and vegetables for the family's grocery, Hudson Greens and Goods. The rolling hills, lakes and gardens look out toward San Pablo Bay, in the Los Carneros AVA.
Visits are private and outdoors, by appointment, with time to take in the property and the views over a selection of current releases. It is not a drop-in stop; we arrange it on your behalf and confirm the details and any fee when the ranch accepts the visit.
Hudson Ranch does not publish a tasting fee. Any fee for a private visit is confirmed by the ranch when the appointment is accepted.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
