Napa · Napa Valley
A women-led label from Olympic swimmer Natalie Coughlin Hall and winemaker Shaina Harding, known for old-vine Napa Chenin Blanc. Gaderian does not receive visitors; here is what to know, and a day at sought-after estates nearby that do host.

Gaderian began with the 2017 vintage, when winemaker Shaina Harding, a UC Davis graduate who has made wine in Napa Valley since 2008, asked her longtime friend Natalie Coughlin Hall to start a label with her. Coughlin Hall, who grew up just outside Napa Valley, won 12 Olympic medals for USA Swimming and has been learning winemaking alongside Harding.
The name comes from an Old English verb meaning to gather. The signature wine is Chenin Blanc from Henry Ranch, a vineyard in the eastern hills of Napa Valley planted more than 50 years ago. Harding also makes Orchard Avenue Merlot, Sunset Knoll Pinot Noir from Carneros, Bynoe Vineyard Cabernet from the St. Helena AVA, rosé and sparkling wines, about 750 cases in all.
The wine is made in another winery's cave, and Gaderian has no tasting room. It is sold through the website and wine club, and the San Francisco Chronicle reported the Chenin Blanc poured by the glass at Bouchon Bistro in Yountville. The day below takes you to three sought-after estates nearby that do welcome guests.
Gaderian does not offer tastings.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
