Brian and Claudia Fleury bought the estate in 2000. Brian was a Bay Area businessman whose love of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon turned into a second career, and the family still runs the winery. In his words, the grapes take center stage in every one of their wines.
The home vineyard is 11 acres in the Rutherford AVA, just south of St. Helena, and the family also farms 30 acres in St. Helena and 6 acres on Howell Mountain at Deer Park. Production stays small, about 4,000 cases a year, and the focus is on reserve reds led by Cabernet Sauvignon.
This is a quiet, personal visit at a small family place, a nice change of pace from the bigger rooms on Highway 29. Reserve tastings are hosted by a member of the Fleury team in a private salon, pouring one white and five reds. There is outdoor seating with sweeping views across the valley, with heaters and cover when the weather turns.
$95 for the Reserve Wine Tasting, six reserve wines in a private salon, 45 to 60 minutes (waived with four bottles per guest).
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.

Back by about 3:35 p.m., well within six hours of pickup.
