Euclid is a father-and-son venture between Mike Farmer and his son Lucas. Mike began as a harvest worker at Robert Mondavi Winery in 1979, became cellarmaster at Opus One in 1993 and spent 21 years there, working with Tim Mondavi and Patrick Léon and leaving as assistant winemaker. Lucas first proposed making wine together in 2003, and after the 2008 crash they began.
Cabernet Sauvignon is the signature. The Black Label Cabernet comes from the northern part of Napa Valley and was first made in 2009; the red-label Tandem Cabernet, named for the father-son partnership, comes from the south of the valley and began in 2013. They have made Syrah from the Sierra Foothills since 2010, and occasionally a Merlot.
There is no tasting room. Instead, guests schedule a tasting with Mike himself and hear about four decades of Napa winemaking; vineyard visits, barrel tastings and paired meals may be available. Euclid does not distribute, but its wines are on the lists at FARM at Carneros Resort, Brix and Mustards Grill. We request the appointment and confirm the place and time for you.
Tasting fees to be verified upon reservation. Euclid does not publish a tasting fee.
Tasting fees as of September 2026. Wineries set and collect their own fees, and they change from time to time.
