About the Winery
Eleven Eleven was founded by Ellie Anest, its co-founder and CEO, whose path ran from a Nebraska farm to San Diego startups and a Fortune 500 career. Forbes profiled her in 2025, and she won a Bronze Stevie Award for Best Female Entrepreneur that year. She built the winery on the Greek idea of parea, friends coming together.
Winemaker Kirk Venge makes 100% single-vineyard, single-varietal wines, letting each site show. The flagship is the Laki's Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, and the highly allocated ENAXI Reserve sits at the top. Wine Enthusiast gave the 2020 Laki's Estate Cabernet 96 points, and the Robb Report named the Rutherford Sauvignon Blanc among Napa's best.
It is an urban winery with a sophisticated tasting room, a zen patio and a few private rooms just off Trancas Street. Every tasting is seated and personalized by a host. The Cabernet Experience adds library vintages and a walk through the winemaking facility. It is an easy, polished first stop for guests staying in town.
Tasting Fees
$75 for The 11:11 Experience, a private seated tasting of the flagship whites and reds, about 75 minutes ($25 deposit). $125 for The Cabernet Experience with current and library Laki's Estate Cabernet, the ENAXI Reserve and a winery tour, at least 90 minutes ($75 deposit).
